DEDALUS Experimental display face inspired by the notoriously labyrinthine mind and works of James Joyce. Joyce's fictional alter ego, Stephen Dedalus, was named after the mythical designer of the maze that held the minotaur, and works like Ulysses and Finnegan’s Wake are nothing if not difficult to navigate. When tightly leaded, the typeface itself forms a maze (another inspiration was Celtic maze patterns and their spirals). Any difficulty in deciphering is strictly intentional.
